Apply a non-aerosol vegetable oil (such as Fellowes 35250) across the paper entry, then run the shredder in Reverse for 2-3 seconds. Repeat this process each time you empty the waste bin to maintain performance.
Switch the shredder to Reverse for 2-3 seconds to back out the object. Alternate slowly between Forward and Reverse if needed. Always unplug the shredder before attempting to gently pull uncut paper from the entry.
If the overheat indicator is illuminated, the shredder has exceeded its maximum operating temperature. Allow the machine to cool down for the specified period (typically 20-40 minutes) before resuming use.
