Most Frient devices automatically enter pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED) when first powered on or when the battery pull-tab is removed. You can also restart the network search by short-pressing the device's reset button.
Frient smart home devices use the Zigbee wireless protocol. Most are Zigbee 3.0 or Zigbee Home Automation 1.2 certified and require a compatible Zigbee gateway or smart hub to interact with your phone and automations.
Press and hold the reset button. The LED will flash once, then twice, and finally begin flashing rapidly in a row. Release the button immediately when the rapid flashing begins. When the LED shows one long flash, the reset is complete.
