3. Kompatibilnost

The SwitchBot Lock Pro is designed to be compatible with most mainstream North American door lock deadbolts. It is a retrofit smart lock, meaning it installs over your existing deadbolt without requiring drilling or damaging original parts.

4. Podešavanje

4.1 Physical Installation of Lock Pro

1. Secure the exterior part of your lock cylinder: Use the provided temporary support tape to hold the exterior part of your deadbolt in place while you work on the interior.
2. Remove the interior part of your lock cylinder: Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the interior thumbturn in place. Carefully detach the interior portion of the deadbolt.
3. Ugradite nosač za montažu: Secure the mounting bracket using the long screws provided. Ensure the metal rod at the end of your lock cylinder stands out from the middle hole of the mounting bracket.
4. Install the cylinder adaptor: Select a cylinder adaptor (1, 2, or 3) that is compatible with the cross-section of your deadbolt's metal rod. Attach it to the metal rod and ensure it can turn the cylinder.
5. Install Lock Pro onto your door: Fit the cylinder adaptor into the groove of the Lock Pro securely. Turn your Lock Pro thumbturn to verify it can lock and unlock your door correctly. Secure the four hex screws into the screw holes on the two sides of Lock Pro using the L-shaped wrench.
6. Remove temporary tape: Check that your Lock Pro is securely attached, then remove the blue tape from the exterior lock cylinder.
7. Install the magnet: Place the magnet on your door frame with the marked side facing your Lock Pro thumbturn. The distance between the magnet and Lock Pro should be 20 mm - 40 mm (0.7 to 1.5 inches). If the tape at the back of the magnet lacks adhesion, use the additional double-sided tape on the side marked.

4.2 App Setup and Calibration

1. Download the SwitchBot App: Traži "SwitchBot" in your smartphone's app store and download the official application.
2. Add Lock Pro to the app: Open the app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device. The app will scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. Select "Lock Pro" from the list. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect.

7. Održavanje

7.1 Vijek trajanja baterije i zamjena

The Lock Pro is powered by 4 x AA 1.5V batteries (included), offering a battery life of 6-9 months depending on usage. You will receive low battery notifications via the app. Replace batteries promptly when notified.

An optional SwitchBot Dual Power Pack can be purchased separately to extend battery life to 9-12 months.

In emergency situations with low battery, the Lock Pro can still be unlocked using passive power supply unlocking, unlike some other retrofit smart locks.

7.2 Čišćenje
