Setup

1. Montiranje radija

Select a secure and accessible location for your CB radio. Use the provided mounting bracket and hardware to firmly attach the radio. Ensure the location allows for proper ventilation and easy access to controls and connections.

2. Priključak za napajanje

Connect the radio's power cord to a 12-volt DC power source in your vehicle. The red wire is positive (+) and the black wire is negative (-). Ensure a secure connection to prevent power interruptions or damage.

3. Antenska veza

Connect your CB antenna to the radio using the supplied 18-foot RG-58A/U coaxial cable. The cable features PL-259 connectors for a reliable connection. Ensure the antenna is properly installed and tuned for optimal performance.

5. SWR Calibration

After installing the antenna, it is crucial to calibrate the Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) for peak performance and to prevent damage to the radio. Uputstvo za upotrebu

1. Uključivanje/isključivanje i jačina zvuka

Turn the VOL/SQ knob clockwise to power on the radio and adjust the volume. Continue turning to increase volume.

2. Kontrola šuma

Adjust the SQ (Squelch) knob to eliminate background noise when no signal is being received. Turn it clockwise until the background noise disappears.

3. Odabir kanala

Use the channel selector knob to choose one of the 40 available CB channels. Channel 19 is commonly used for highway communication, and Channel 9 is for emergency use.

4. Odabir AM/FM načina rada

The Cobra 29 LTD supports dual AM/FM modes. Select the desired mode for your communication needs. FM mode can offer clearer communication in certain conditions.

5. Instant Channel 9

Press the CH9 button for instant access to emergency channel 9.

6. Prenos

To transmit, press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button on the microphone and speak clearly. Release the PTT button to listen.
