For optimal protection, install smoke detectors in all living areas, especially bedrooms and hallways. Avoid installing in kitchens, bathrooms, or garages where steam, cooking fumes, or exhaust fumes could cause false alarms.

- Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the drill holes.

- The low battery beep will be suspended for eight hours.
