1. Uvod

The Retro Fighters Defender Wireless Gamepad is designed for enhanced gaming across multiple platforms. This controller offers modern features and ergonomic design while maintaining compatibility with classic and contemporary systems. It is compatible with PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Classic, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

2. Podešavanje

2.2 Punjenje kontrolera

Before first use, fully charge the controller for a minimum of 2 hours. The controller features a built-in Lithium Ion battery, providing over 10 hours of gameplay per charge.

1. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the top of the controller.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., console, PC, USB wall adapter).
3. The LED indicators on the controller will show charging status.

2.3 Connecting to Consoles/PC

The Defender controller uses different receivers depending on the system.

2.3.1 PlayStation 1 & PlayStation 2

1. Insert the dedicated PS1/PS2 receiver into an available controller port on your PlayStation 1 or PlayStation 2 console.

2.3.2 PlayStation 3, Nintendo Switch & PC

1. Insert the USB-A receiver into an available USB port on your PlayStation 3 console, Nintendo Switch dock, or PC.

Napomena: When using with PlayStation 3, the controller does not support Sixaxis motion sensing capabilities.

The Defender gamepad features a familiar layout with modern enhancements:

• D-Pad: A digital directional pad for traditional control.

3.2 Turbo Functionality

To activate Turbo for a button:

1. Pritisnite i držite TURBO dugme.
2. Dok drži TURBO, press the desired face button (Triangle, Circle, Cross, or Square).
3. Release both buttons. The selected button now has turbo functionality.

To clear Turbo for a button:

1. Pritisnite i držite CLEAR dugme.
2. Dok drži CLEAR, press the button for which you want to disable turbo.
3. Release both buttons. Turbo functionality is now disabled for that button.

4. Održavanje

4.1 Čišćenje

To keep your controller in optimal condition:

• Wipe the controller regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

5. Otkrivanje problema

5.1 Problemi s vezom

If the controller fails to connect or experiences intermittent connection:

• Ensure the correct receiver is securely plugged into the console/PC.

• Press the central Home button on the controller to re-initiate pairing.
• If issues persist, locate the small reset button on the back of the controller (often a small pinhole). Use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press and hold this button for a few seconds to perform a factory reset, then attempt to re-pair.

5.2 Input Lag or Unresponsive Buttons

If you experience delays or buttons not responding:

• Ensure you are within the wireless range (over 30 feet).
• Check for potential interference from other 2.4 GHz wireless devices.
• Perform a controller reset as described in section 5.1.
• For PC use, ensure drivers are up to date.
