1. Uvod
This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your TooQ TQE-2528R 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD External Enclosure. This device allows you to convert a 2.5-inch SATA I, II, or III hard disk drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD) into a portable external storage solution using a USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection.
The TQE-2528R enclosure is designed for ease of use, featuring a screw-less installation and a durable ABS plastic construction. It is powered directly via the USB port, eliminating the need for an external power adapter.

3. Upute za postavljanje
Follow these steps to install your 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD into the TooQ TQE-2528R enclosure.
3.1. Installing the Hard Drive/SSD
- Otvorite kućište: Gently slide the top cover of the enclosure to open it. The design allows for tool-free access.
- Povežite pogon: Align your 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD with the internal SATA connector inside the enclosure. Gently push the drive firmly into the connector until it is securely seated. Ensure the drive is compatible (SATA I/II/III, up to 9.5mm height).
- Zatvorite priloženi materijal: Slide the top cover back onto the enclosure until it clicks into place, securing the drive inside.

3.2. Povezivanje sa računarom
- Povežite USB kabl: Plug the Micro-B end of the included USB 3.0 cable into the Micro-USB port on the TooQ TQE-2528R enclosure.
- Povežite se na računar: Plug the standard USB Type-A end of the cable into an available USB 3.0 (or USB 2.0 for backward compatibility) port on your computer.
- Uključeno: The enclosure is USB-powered and will turn on automatically when connected to a powered USB port. The LED indicator will illuminate.

4. Uputstvo za upotrebu
4.1. LED indikator
The TooQ TQE-2528R features an LED indicator to show its status:
- Solid Blue/White Light: Indicates the enclosure is powered on and connected to the computer.
- Flashing Blue/White Light: Indicates data activity (reading from or writing to the installed HDD/SSD).

4.2. Drive Recognition and Formatting
- New Drives: If you are using a brand new HDD/SSD, it may need to be initialized and formatted before it can be used. Refer to your operating system's disk management tools for instructions on how to do this.
- Existing Drives: If the drive already contains data and is formatted, it should be recognized automatically by your operating system.
4.3. Safe Removal
Always safely eject the external drive from your operating system before disconnecting the USB cable to prevent data corruption or loss. This is typically done via the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the system tray (Windows) or by dragging the drive icon to the Trash/Eject (macOS).
