This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the EPOS Sennheiser SD BS ML-US DECT Wireless Base Station. This device is designed for PC-based VOIP telephone systems and is certified for Skype for Business. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your EPOS Sennheiser SD BS ML-US base station:
1. Povežite se na napajanje
Connect the power supply unit to the 'DC' port on the rear of the base station (Figure 2). Plug the power adapter into a functional wall outlet. The base station will power on automatically.
2. Povežite se na PC
Connect the supplied USB cable from the base station's USB port (Figure 2) to an available USB port on your PC. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
3. Connect Headset (Not Included)
Connect your compatible EPOS Sennheiser DECT wireless headset to the base station according to the headset's specific instructions. Ensure the headset is charged and properly paired with the base station. Refer to your headset's manual for detailed pairing procedures.

The base station is designed for plug-and-play operation with PC VOIP systems, especially those certified for Skype for Business. For advanced settings, such as audio profiles or specific telephone system integrations, you may need to adjust the DIP switches on the side of the unit (Figure 3) or install the EPOS Connect software (available from the EPOS webweb lokacija).

When connected to your PC and a compatible VOIP application (e.g., Skype for Business), calls can be managed directly from your PC interface or via your paired headset's controls. The call control buttons on the front of the base station (Figure 1) may also be used for answering/ending calls, depending on your headset and software configuration.
2. Kontrola jačine zvuka
- Jačina slušanja: Adjust the incoming audio volume via your PC's sound settings or your headset's dedicated volume controls.
- Jačina zvuka mikrofona: The microphone volume can be adjusted using the 'Mic. Vol.' knob located on the side of the base station (Figure 3). Rotate clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
3. Domet i povezanost
The DECT wireless technology provides a secure and stable connection. For optimal range and to minimize interference, ensure the base station is placed in an open area, away from large metal objects, microwave ovens, or other wireless devices operating on similar frequencies.

Wipe the base station with a soft, dry, anti-static cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or solvents, as these can damage the surface and internal components.

If you encounter issues with your base station, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
Nema snage
- Ensure the power supply is securely connected to both the base station's 'DC' port and a working wall outlet.

No Sound / Poor Audio Quality
- Verify that all cables (USB, power) are correctly and firmly connected.

- Adjust the microphone volume knob on the side of the base station (Figure 3).
- Review the DIP switch settings (Figure 3) for Wideband/Narrowband or Limiter settings that might affect audio quality.
Headset Not Connecting
- Refer to your specific headset's manual for detailed pairing instructions.
- Ensure the base station is powered on and its status indicators are active.
- If issues persist, try restarting both your PC and the base station.
