Setup
1. Instalacija baterije
- Gently open the battery compartment cover on the back of the thermostat.
- Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

3. Pairing with PTAC Unit
The DS01E thermostat must be paired with a compatible Amana PTAC unit to function wirelessly. Refer to your PTAC unit's manual for specific pairing instructions, as procedures may vary. Generally, the process involves:
- Ensuring both the thermostat and the PTAC unit are powered on.
- Activating a 'pairing mode' on the PTAC unit (often a button press sequence or a setting in its control panel).
- Initiating a 'pairing search' on the DS01E thermostat (refer to the thermostat's display for prompts or specific button combinations).
- Confirming successful pairing, usually indicated by a message on the thermostat's display or an audible signal from the PTAC unit.

Osnovne kontrole
The Amana DS01E thermostat features button controls for easy operation. The display will show the set temperature and current operating mode.
