The clock requires two AA batteries for operation. These are included in the package.

2. Initial Power-On and R-Wave Signal Reception

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive the R-Wave (radio-controlled) time signal from Fort Collins, Colorado. This process may take several minutes to several hours, depending on your location and environmental conditions.

• Place the clock near a window, away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
• The signal strength indicator (often an antenna icon) on the display will show if the signal is being received. A solid icon indicates successful synchronization.
