- Clear the Lock: Turn the dial clockwise two or more full turns to clear the previous setting. Stop with the indicator at the top.
- First Number: Turn the dial clockwise to the first number of your preset combination. Stop precisely on this number.
- Second Number: Turn the dial counter-clockwise past zero once, then continue to the second number of your combination. Stop precisely on this number.
- Third Number: Turn the dial clockwise directly to the third number of your combination. Stop precisely on this number.
