3. Vodič za postavljanje

The Baseus Metal Gleam Series II USB HUB is designed for plug-and-play functionality. Follow these steps to set up your device:

1. Poveži se s host uređajem: Plug the integrated USB-C cable of the HUB into the USB-C port of your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
2. Priključite napajanje (opciono, ali preporučeno): For stable operation, especially when connecting multiple devices or using power-intensive peripherals, connect a USB-C PD charger (up to 100W, not included) to the USB-C (PD) Power Input Port on the HUB.

   • For 8K@30Hz or 4K@120Hz (Max.) display, connect your monitor to HDMI1 port.
   • For 4K@60Hz (Max.) display, connect your monitor to HDMI2 port.

4.1 Dual Display Functionality

The HUB supports various display modes to maximize your work efficiency:

  • MirrorMode: Duplicate your main monitor (A) onto two external displays (A+A).

Important Display Notes:

• Only the HDMI-Port 1 supports 4K@120Hz clarity in single display mode.
• Ensure your device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) for display functionality.

4.2 Screen-Lock Button

The integrated screen-lock button provides a convenient way to protect your privacy or temporarily hide your screen content.

4.4 Punjenje putem napajanja (PD)

The USB-C (PD) Power Input Port supports up to 100W input, allowing you to fast charge your laptop or other compatible devices while using the HUB.

• Connect a compatible USB-C PD charger to the HUB's PD input port.
• The HUB will pass through power to your connected host device.
• Actual output may vary depending on the charging device and the power adapter used.

5. Održavanje

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Baseus USB HUB, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

If you encounter issues with your USB HUB, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Nema prikaza na vanjskom monitoru:
  • Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
  • Check all cable connections (USB-C to host, HDMI to monitor).

  • Ensure the HUB is receiving sufficient power, especially for high-resolution displays. Connect a PD charger to the HUB.
  • Verify display settings on your operating system (Windows/macOS) to detect and configure external monitors.

  • Ensure you are using the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports for maximum speed (10Gbps). USB 2.0 ports offer 480Mbps.
  • The speed is also dependent on the connected device's capabilities.
  • Avoid connecting too many power-intensive devices simultaneously without external power to the HUB.

  • This HUB provides HDMI izlaz for connecting external displays, not HDMI unos for video capture. It cannot be used to capture video from devices like the Nintendo Switch.

8. Savjeti za korisnike

• When using the screen-lock button, remember to press once for Windows systems and twice for macOS systems.
• If you experience any display issues, ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Not all USB-C ports have this capability.
• For 4K@120Hz clarity, connect your display to HDMI1. HDMI2 supports up to 4K@60Hz.
