3.1. Main Controls

- Insert the plug of the ZC-4 RX Receiver into the camcorder's REMOTE or LANC terminal.
- Once connected, the receiver will light up green, and a wireless icon will display on the ZC-4 TX controller, indicating a successful wireless connection.
- The wireless communication range is approximately 50 meters (164 feet) in open space without interference.
Wired Control Setup
- Connect the ZC-4 TX controller directly to the camcorder's REMOTE or LANC terminal using the provided remote cable.
- When using wired control, batteries are not required for the ZC-4 TX controller as it draws power from the camcorder.

- Connect Remote Controller 2 to the REMOTE connector of Remote Controller 1.
- If Remote Controllers 1 and 2 are operated simultaneously, the operation of one of them will be ignored.

- Turn the zoom lever to adjust zoom: zoom in (telephoto) or zoom out (wide angle).
- The controller supports zoom pressure-sensitive control, zoom lever rotation direction setting (Normal/Reverse), and zoom speed setting (Slow/Mid/Fast).

You can reduce the shutter speed by using adjustable ND filters to give more motion blur to the imaging, making video images smooth, natural, and vivid.
- If the camcorder has an electronically switchable ND filter auto adjustment function, press the ND key (A/M) to toggle auto adjustment on/off.
- Turn the ND knob to adjust the ND density.
- Press and hold the ND knob to start auto-ND adjustment. Release to end it.
