  • How do I set the charging cycle on the Taiko BMS App?

Using the Taiko BMS (Battery Management System) App connected via Bluetooth, navigate to the settings menu. Select the 'Charge Start' and 'Charge End' fields to enter your desired charging times. The default cycle is typically set from 00:00 to 07:00.

  • What is Shipping Mode and when should I use it?

Shipping Mode safely discharges the capacitors and shuts down the motherboard and XDMI cards. You should enable this mode via the BMS App if the server will be disconnected from mains power for more than 2 hours or during transport.

  • How do I connect the Extreme Router and Switch?

For optimal IP allocation, power on the Extreme Router first and wait 2 minutes. Then power on the Extreme Switch and wait 1 minute before powering on the Extreme Music Server. Connect the devices using the appropriate RJ45 or SFP modules as described in the manual.

  • Where can I find supported DAC profiles for the Taiko USB Driver?

A list of supported DACs and their corresponding USB profiles is available in the USB Driver User Guide. To select a profile, log into the Extreme Server via VNC and run the specific profile script from the desktop.

  • What should I do if I forget my BMS App PIN code?

If the PIN code (default 000000) is forgotten, you must contact Taiko Audio Support. They can remotely reset the app to factory defaults to restore access.
