For newborns and smaller infants (approximately 3 months and younger), adjust the seat to its narrowest width to ensure proper hip-healthy positioning. Locate the Velcro panel inside the waistband. Carefully slide the Velcro inward, ensuring it lies flat and straight, not twisted or bent. This creates a narrower seat for your baby's legs to maintain the 'M' position.
Wearing the Carrier
Fasten the waistband securely around your natural waist, ensuring it is high and snug. The padded shoulder straps should cross over your back. Place your baby in the carrier, ensuring their legs are in the hip-healthy 'M' position. Bring the main panel up over your baby's body. Throw one shoulder strap over your shoulder, then switch hands to support your baby while you grab the other strap and bring it over the opposite shoulder. Buckle both straps securely and tighten them until your baby is snug against your body, visible, and kissable.

Operating: Carrying Positions
1. Front Facing In (3+ months)
This position is ideal for newborns and younger infants who need full head and neck support. Ensure the headrest panel is up and secured if your baby lacks full head control. Your baby should be snug against your chest, with their knees higher than their bottom, forming an 'M' shape.
2. Front Facing Out (6+ months)
For babies 6 months and older who have strong head and neck control and are curious about their surroundings. This position is recommended for shorter periods (20 minutes or less) as it is less natural for hip positioning. Ensure the seat is adjusted to support their legs out to the knee, preventing dangling. Always monitor your baby for overstimulation.
