3.1 Hung Window Installation

1. Measure and Prepare Foam: Measure the width of your window. Cut one piece of Foam A for the window sill and another for the window sash. Install each piece of foam onto the window.
2. Assemble Window Slider: Refer to the user manual for the correct combination of window panels for your window size. Slide the panels together. If your window requires two or more panels, use a bolt to fasten each panel, leaving the end panel loose for adjustment.
3. Install Foam B: Install Foam B to the sides of the window frame or the ends of the window panels, depending on your specific installation.
4. Insert Window Slider: Insert the assembled window slider into the window opening. Ensure the hose cut-out is positioned at the top of the panel and the ends of the window slider are inserted into the window track.

6. Add Insulation (Optional): For added insulation, install the window slider foam to the outside of the panels.

8. Close Window and Secure: Close the window and install the included window security bracket found in the installation hardware bag.
9. Install Foam C: Cut Foam C to fit in between the window sashes.
10. Attach Exhaust Adapter: For optimal performance, install the air exhaust adapter onto the exhaust hose by rotating the adapter clockwise until the tabs click into place.

3.2 Sliding Window Installation (Optional)

1. Measure and Prepare Foam: Measure the height of your window. Cut one piece of Foam A for the window frame and another for the window sash. Install each piece of foam onto the window.
2. Assemble Window Slider: Refer to the user manual for the correct combination of window panels for your window size. Slide the panels together. If your window requires two or more panels, use two bolts (one on each side) to fasten each panel, leaving the end panel loose for adjustment.
3. Install Foam B: Install Foam B to the top and bottom of the window frame or the ends of the window panels, depending on your specific installation.
4. Insert Window Slider: Install the window sliders into your window, making sure the hose cut-out is positioned away from the window frame. Adjust the slider so the assembly fits tightly in your window and insert the final bolts.
5. Add Insulation (Optional): For added insulation, install the window slider foam to the outside of the panels.
6. Install Window Kit Brace (If Necessary): Install the window kit brace to prevent the slider assembly from moving when the hose is attached.
7. Close Window and Secure: Close the window and install the included window security bracket found in the installation hardware bag.
8. Install Foam C: Cut Foam C to fit in between the window sashes.
9. Assemble Sliding Window Adapter: Assemble the sliding window adapter by aligning and connecting the two pieces until they click together. Double-check they are correctly aligned and secure with the provided screw. Then attach the air divider until it clicks into place.
10. Attach Adapter to Hose: Attach the adapter to the hose by lining up the circle on the adapter with the circle on the hose and install until all four tabs click in place.

5. Condensate Drain Hose Setup

Proper condensate drainage is crucial for the efficient operation of your unit, especially in Dry or Heat modes.

5.1 Dry Mode Drainage

1. Remove the cover and plug from the top drain outlet.
2. Connect the supplied drain hose.
3. Secure the drain hose to a bucket or use the adapter to connect to a longer hose. A garden hose can be optionally attached to the threaded outlet.
4. Ensure the end of the drain hose is secure to prevent leaks.
5. Save the cap and plug if you wish to change modes later.

5.2 Heat Mode Drainage

1. Remove the middle drain hose cover and plug.
2. Attach the supplied drain hose.
3. Ensure the end of the drain hose is secure to prevent leaks.
4. When enough condensate is generated, the drain pump will activate and pump the condensate out. The drain pump can pump up to 6 feet above the hose connection.

5.3 Cool Mode Drainage

During Cool mode, condensate does not typically need to be drained. However, in high humidity environments, enough condensate may be generated to trigger the P1 code on the display.

• To continue operation, remove the drain cover and plug from the bottom tray and empty the condensate.
