5. Instalacija

• Ensure the installation area is clear of obstructions and electrical wiring.
• Verify that the wall structure can support the weight of the range hood.

• Maintain a minimum distance of 75 cm (approximately 29.5 inches) between the cooking surface and the bottom of the range hood for optimal performance and safety.
• Ensure the range hood is centered above your cooking zone.

5.2. Opći koraci instalacije

1. Označite tačke montaže: Using a pencil and a measuring tape, mark the desired location for the range hood on the wall, ensuring it is level and centered above the cooking area. Refer to the dimensions diagram for precise measurements.
2. Izbušite rupe: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations for the mounting hardware. Use a drill bit appropriate for your wall material and the provided wall anchors.
3. Ugradite zidne ankere: Umetnite zidne tiple u izbušene rupe.
4. Montirajte haubu: Secure the range hood to the wall using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is firmly attached and level.
5. Spajanje kanala: If using ducted ventilation, connect appropriate ductwork (not included) from the hood's exhaust outlet to the exterior of your home. Ensure all connections are sealed to prevent air leaks.
6. Električni priključak: Connect the range hood to a grounded electrical outlet. This step should be performed by a qualified electrician.

6. Uputstvo za upotrebu

Your Mabe range hood features simple push-button controls located on the front panel.

• Dugmad za brzinu ventilatora: Select from three fan speeds (Low, Medium, High) to adjust the extraction power according to your cooking needs.

It is recommended to turn on the range hood a few minutes before cooking to establish an airflow and leave it on for a few minutes after cooking to clear any lingering odors.

7. Održavanje i čišćenje

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your range hood.

7.1. Vanjsko čišćenje

Clean the exterior surfaces of the range hood regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner and wipe in the direction of the grain to prevent scratches and maintain its luster. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.

7.2. Čišćenje filtera za masnoću

The metal grease filters should be cleaned frequently, ideally every 3-4 weeks depending on cooking habits. They can be washed by hand with hot water and a mild detergent or in a dishwasher.

1. Turn off the range hood and disconnect power.
2. Locate the release latches on the filters and gently pull them down to remove the filters.
3. Wash the filters thoroughly. Allow them to dry completely before re-installing.
4. Re-insert the filters by aligning them with the slots and pushing them up until they click into place.

7.3. Activated Carbon Filter Replacement

If your range hood is used in recirculation mode (without external ducting), the activated carbon filters (not included, purchased separately) need to be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months, as they cannot be washed. Refer to the carbon filter manufacturer's instructions for specific replacement intervals.

1. Turn off the range hood and disconnect power.
2. Remove the metal grease filters as described above.
3. Remove the old carbon filters (if installed) by twisting or unclipping them from the motor housing.
4. Install new carbon filters by aligning them and twisting or clipping them into place.
5. Re-install the metal grease filters.
