1. Uvod i ključne karakteristike
The EDIAG OBD2 Scanner YA-101 is an advanced diagnostic scan tool designed to help vehicle owners and mechanics quickly identify and resolve issues related to the check engine light. It supports all 10 modes of OBD2 functionality, providing comprehensive vehicle health information.

2. Podešavanje i početna konfiguracija
2.1 Povezivanje uređaja
Locate the 16-pin OBD2 Data Link Connector (DLC) in your vehicle. This port is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. Plug the YA-101 scanner's cable into the vehicle's DLC. The device will automatically power on once connected to the vehicle's OBD2 port.

2.2 Postavke jezika i jedinica
The YA-101 supports 9 languages, including English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian. You can also switch between Metric and English units for data display.
- From the Main Menu, navigate to 'Option' using the Up/Down arrow buttons.
- Press 'OK' to enter the Option menu.
- Select 'Language' or 'Unit' and press 'OK' to choose your preferred setting.

3. Uputstvo za upotrebu
3.1 Opća navigacija
The scanner features four main navigation buttons:
- Dugme OK: Potvrđuje izbor ili ulazi u meni.
- Dugme za povratak: Vraća na prethodni ekran ili otkazuje operaciju.
- Dugmad sa strelicama gore/dolje: Navigates through menu options or data lists.
3.2 Dijagnostičke funkcije
From the Main Menu, select 'Diagnostic' and press 'OK'. The scanner will automatically detect the vehicle's protocol. Once connected, you will see the Diagnostic Menu with various functions:
- Pročitajte kodove: Displays Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the vehicle's computer. This includes Stored Codes (current issues), Pending Codes (intermittent issues), and Permanent Codes.
- Obriši kodove: Clears all stored DTCs and turns off the Check Engine Light (MIL). Ensure the underlying issue is resolved before erasing kodovi.
- Podaci uživo: Displays real-time data parameters from the vehicle's sensors, such as engine RPM, vehicle speed, O2 sensor readings, and more. This is crucial for monitoring vehicle performance and diagnosing intermittent problems.
- Zamrzni okvir: Captures a snapshot of vehicle operating conditions at the moment a DTC was set. This data helps identify the conditions under which the fault occurred.
- Podaci o vozilu: Retrieves vehicle identification information, such as VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CALID, and CVN.
- I/M spremnost: Checks the status of the vehicle's emission-related monitoring systems to determine if they have completed their diagnostic tests. This is essential for smog checks.
- Mode 6 (On-Board Monitor Test): Accesses the results of on-board diagnostic monitoring tests for specific monitored systems that are not continuously monitored. This can help identify misfires or other component issues.
- Test O2 senzora: Retrieves O2 sensor monitoring test results from the vehicle's computer.
- Component Test (Mode 8): Omogućava pokretanje testa curenja za EVAP sistem vozila.

3.3 Funkcija testiranja baterije
The YA-101 includes a battery test function to check the vehicle's battery status. From the Main Menu, select 'Voltage Test' and press 'OK' to view trenutni volumen baterijetage i status.

4.1 Ažuriranja softvera
The EDIAG YA-101 offers free lifetime software updates via its USB port. Regularly check the official EDIAG website for the latest software versions to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with newer vehicle models.
4.2 Čišćenje i skladištenje
Očistite ekran skenera i casing s mekim, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the device in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
