The Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 requires one AA battery for operation. If the battery is not pre-installed, open the battery compartment cover located on the underside of the mouse. Insert the AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-), then close the cover securely.

The nano receiver provides the wireless connection between your mouse and computer. Locate an available USB port on your computer (desktop or laptop). Insert the Logitech Nano Receiver firmly into the USB port. The receiver is designed to be small enough to remain plugged in without obstruction.

Once the receiver is connected, your computer should automatically detect the mouse. No additional software installation is typically required for basic functionality on Windows or Mac operating systems.
