4. Podešavanje

4.1 Montaža

The TFA 45.2007 Thermo-Hygrometer is designed for inside mounting. Choose a suitable indoor location away from direct heat sources, air conditioning vents, or windows that receive direct sunlight, as these can affect the accuracy of readings. Use a small nail or screw to hang the device securely on a wall.

4.2 Initial Calibration (Hygrometer)

For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to calibrate the hygrometer before first use or if you suspect inaccurate readings. Follow these steps for a simple salt solution calibration:

1. Place a small cup or container with approximately 2 tablespoons of coarse table salt.
2. Add a few drops of water to the salt, just enough to make it damp, not dissolved.
3. Place the thermo-hygrometer and the salt solution inside an airtight plastic bag or container.
4. Seal the bag/container and leave it undisturbed for at least 8-12 hours (preferably overnight) at room temperature.
5. After this period, the hygrometer should read approximately 75% relative humidity. If it does not, gently adjust the small screw on the back of the device (if available) until the needle points to 75%.
6. Remove the device from the bag/container and allow it to acclimatize to the room for a few hours before taking readings.
